Big Bridesmaid Challenge Update - Week 6

The Plan:

I'm going to set weekly goals/plans for myself until August 11th. That is the date of my best friend's wedding and I want to feel good about myself in my bridesmaid dress!

The Terms and Conditions:

~ Dinner plans are to be posted for each week
~ Exercise plans are to be posted for each week

Starting Weight: 245 lbs.
Current Date: 2/19/12
Current Weight: 240.4 lbs (-2 lbs from last week)
Total Loss: 4.6 lbs.
Goal Weight: 200 lbs.
Goal Date: 8/11/12
Pounds to Goal: 40.4 lbs.

Dinner Plan for the Week:

Sunday: Steak w/ Parsnip Fries
Monday: Large Salad (Dinner out with friends)
Tuesday: Shrimp w/ Rice and Broccoli
Wednesday: Stuffed Bell Peppers with Turkey and Rice
Thursday: Sesame Chicken w/ Rice and Broccoli
Friday: Mini Eggplant Pizzas
Saturday: Slow Cooker Pineapple Pork over Rice

Exercise Plan for the Week:

Sunday: Gym
Monday: Wii Fit
Tuesday: Wii Fit
Wednesday: Gym
Thursday: Wii Fit
Friday: Gym
Saturday: Rest

Recap from the Week:

I have to say that I was feeling very impatient with myself this morning. I did lose two pound this week, however, I was expecting to be further ahead than I am right now. Actually, I digress. According to this week, I am right on target. It would take 1.73 pounds per week to reach my goal at this point. I need to focus on the brighter side of things. It's not like I can even say I was doing everything right since day one of this challenge; I failed to follow my exercise plan for the 6th week in a row this week. More proof, my friends, that healthy eating alone won't beat this. I know this, I just need to practice what I already know. You get what you give; if I want more, I need to give more. That's what I plan on doing this week!
