I Just Can't Even Explain


1. Try 25 new recipes

Last week, for dinner, I made a new recipe as a part of my 25 by 25 list. I made Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken, a recipe from one of my favorite sites, sparkrecipes.com. My husband and I both loved this dish so much, I just can't even explain!

Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken

Servings: 4

Nutrition Per Serving: 157 calories, 7 fat, 3 carbs, 20 protein

Ingredients:

Brown sugar, 4 tsp unpacked
Chicken Breast, no skin, 12 ounces
Garlic, 1 clove
Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
Salt, 1 tsp
Pepper, black, 1 dash

Directions:

1. Melt the butter in the frying pan. Brown garlic in butter.

2. Add chicken breasts to butter and garlic, cook thoroughly, adding salt and pepper as you like it.

3. When chicken is fully cooked add brown sugar on top of each breast. Allow the brown sugar to melt into the chicken (about 5 minutes).

4. If cooking with noodles as a side, cook noddles as directed. Add to butter and garlic mixture to coat noodles. (I sprinked a little more brown sugar on top of the noodles. It tasted amazing!)
