Big Bridesmaid Challenge Update - Week 22

The Plan:

I'm setting weekly goals/plans for myself until August 11th. That is the date of my best friend's wedding and I want to feel good about myself in my bridesmaid dress!

The Terms and Conditions:

~ Dinner plans are to be posted for each week
~ Exercise plans are to be posted for each week

Weekly Weigh-In:

Start Date: 1/11/12
Starting Weight: 245 lbs.
Current Date: 6/11/12
Current Weight: 233 lbs (+.2 lbs from last week)
Total Loss: 12 lbs.
Goal Weight: 200 lbs.
Goal Date: 8/11/12
Pounds to Goal: 33 lbs.

Dinner Plan for the Week:

Monday: Shrimp with Rice and Broccoli
Tuesday: Grilled Steak Salads
Wednesday: *Business Trip - Out of Town overnight*
Thursday: *Business Trip - Out of Town overnight*
Friday: Chicken Enchiladas
Saturday: *First 5K Race - 7 p.m. Start*

Exercise Plan for the Week:

Sunday: Rest
Monday: Gym
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: Gym
Thursday: Gym
Friday: Rest
Saturday: 5K Race

No big change this week, weight wise. I have been stuck in the 230's for what seems like an eternity! I've got three big goals for this week and those are to 1.) survive my business trip without gaining any more weight; 2.) go to the gym while out of town; 3.) complete my first 5K race on Saturday!

I am not even nervous in the least bit for this race. It is a little different than other 5K races in that this is a "fun race" and it starts at 7:00 p.m. (that's why it's called the Sunset Shuffle.) What I need now is some advice!

What should I eat the day of the race since it starts at 7:00 p.m.? How long before the race should I stop eating and drinking? I appreciate any feedback!
