Things that Make me Happy

With all of the bad news that has been passed around lately, I think it is time to focus on some of the little things that make me happy. This isn't the standard, "faith, family, friends" happiness list, this list is only highlighting a few random little things that I have found to make me happy these past few weeks!

  1. Random Things that have made me happy lately:
    1. Wrapping presents with no 'little helpers'
    2. Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
    3. Started and finished reading a book from my favorite series (Notorious Nineteen by Janet Evanovich)... Oh yeah, did I mention it was suppose to be a Christmas gift from my husband so now i have to act surprised and pretend I didnt already sneak a peak and read it ALL already... haha
    4. Fuzzy blankets always make me smile too and I have been wrapped up in one a couple times this week since its getting colder here.
    5. And ofcourse it always makes me happy to spend time with my kids and family, so I will be really happy on Monday when we are all together at my parents house for Christmas Eve!

  2. Those veggie shooters made me happy too. they look so yummy and party friendly. I'm also happy I have 4 days off and I've finished planning my Christmas dinner menu. It's gonna be awesome!

    I get to help people keep New Years resolutions! I'm a scheduled water aerobics instructor for my gym!

    I love wrapping presents and I can't wait for my kids to open their gifts!

    This year I'm happy every time my husband is home before bedtime (he can work up to 20+hour days with only 8 hours off.

    Seeing houses lit up is so cool, I love to drive around and look at houses and yards lit up.

    I work in retail, and I usually dread this time of year, but all of my customers have been happy. It's been a great season so far!
