Pampered and Refreshed

Happy last day of March!

I was feeling inspired to do something different with my hair this morning. I took a picture to share with you, of course!




I am feeling great today! My ritual of doing nothing on Sunday so that Monday will be wonderful, has not let me down. I'm lucky enough to have a husband that did the dishes, the grocery shopping and picked up dinner so that I literally didn't have to do a thing yesterday.

Who am I kidding? I didn't do much on Saturday, either.




My friend and I got spa pedicures on Saturday. We had a great girls day together! We drank wine, picked up subs and salad for dinner and watched girl movies. My weekend was pretty darn great!





I put those painted tootsies to work this afternoon. I went for a walk outside with my new Brooks sneakers for 30 minutes during my lunch. The sun was shining and it wasn't too cold. I smiled the entire time. Smiling and walking for 30 minutes a day should be the cure for just about anything. If only, right? My plantar fasciitis was hurting during and after my walk, so I made sure to do "towel stretches" and iced once I got back to the office.

Since I had a lot of pampering this weekend, I feel super rejuvenated and ready to attack the month of April! I hope my plantar fasciitis is ready to hit the road, because I want to start running again, soon! I am going to spend some time this evening thinking up my goals for April.

  1. I know you want to run again but just don't do it if you have pain. Make sure you are healed and have doctor's permission too. I know you want too though. I have a injury right now too and can't run. I'm actually going to try and lose weight before i run again just due to some injuries that i've had. that is of course a personal choice. Good luck!
