It was about 70 degrees when I got out of work yesterday. The sun was shining and I wanted to RUN!
I went to the high school track with my husband, with every intention of running. My foot wasn't hurting, and I specifically remember the doctor saying wait "one to two weeks" before running. Well, it had been exactly one week, and I needed to run! As soon as we pulled up to the track, I saw a bunch of cars. It was then that I remembered my mom telling me about my sister's track meet. So, instead of running on the track, we watched my sister run.
After she was done running, my husband and I went to a local park and began to walk. We walked for a half mile and then I started to run. I ran for a tenth of a mile, then walked. I did intervals of this until we reached the car. My foot wasn't any more painful than it was before I started running. I feel like easing back into running is going to be the smartest thing for me. My head wanted me to run a mile straight but my body knew better. Intervals are going to be my life for a while. Along with a lot of rest days.

The first day of April was wonderful! I am so excited for the month ahead!
April Challenge
- Eat out no more than once per week
- Lose 10 pounds (233 lbs to 223 lbs)
What are your goals for April?
Your interval approach seems like a good plan for you at the moment. Just be careful that you don't overdo it! Good luck with your April goals, you can do it!!
