- No eating out more than once per week (I have not eaten out at all this week!)
- Lose 10 pounds (1 lb. down!)
I weighed in a pound less than last week, bringing me down to 232 lbs. Nine more pounds to go this month, and I'm ready to get there!
Last night for dinner, we had a succulent and healthy garlic-rubbed salmon with vegetables and jasmine rice. This was my first time trying jasmine rice and I really enjoyed the texture. It was delicious, too!
Yesterday was also the first day that I was allowed to run according to my podiatrist. Surprisingly, despite how much I have wanted to run these past two weeks (and did sneak a run in there last week) I didn't run last night. I had something completely unexpected pop up. I wish I could share but I just can't quite yet. I can only say that I was running around like a mad woman; trying to meet a deadline. Some exciting things may be happening in my future! Fingers crossed.
Although I did not follow my exercise plan last night, I have been right on point with following my dinner plans.
Dinner plans:
Monday: Sundried Tomato and Goat Cheese Chicken with Veggies (done)
Tuesday: Salmon with Jasmine Rice and Veggies (done)
Wednesday: Chicken Salad
Thursday: Shrimp with Rice and Veggies
Friday: Goat Cheese and Sundried Tomato Pizza
Exercise plans:
Monday: Strength training (done)
Tuesday: Run (missed)
Wednesday: Strength training
Thursday: Run
Friday: Strength training
I'm continuing on with my goals this week, and I am hoping for an even better loss on the scale come next Tuesday!
I love jasmine rice! Have you tried basmati? It's also delicious.
