April Challenge Update and Mmm

Today is weigh-in day for my April Challenge.
  • No eating out more than once per week (1 out of 2 weeks complete!)
  • Lose 10 pounds (4 lbs. down!)
This morning, I weighed in three pounds less than last week, bringing me down to 229 lbs. Six more pounds to go this month! I can do it!

Last week was amazing. I wrote a post about how I'm planning on turning my good week into a good month. If you haven't read it yet, you can check it out, here.

Having my dinner and exercise planned for the week always helps me stay on track! Here's what I've got planned for this week:

Exercise plans:

Sunday: Rest (done)
Monday: Strength training (done)
Tuesday: Cardio
Wednesday: Strength training
Thursday: Cardio
Friday: Strength training
Saturday: Cardio

Dinner plans:

Sunday: Pizza Bar (done)
Monday: Coconut Curry with Chicken (done)
Tuesday: Pepperoncini Pot Roast (in the slow cooker!)
Wednesday: Chicken Salad
Thursday: Shrimp with Rice and Veggies
Friday: Creamy Cauliflower Soup*
Saturday: Pureed White Bean Soup with Bacon and Roasted Cherry Tomatoes*

My husband is getting his wisdom teeth out on Friday. Good Friday. I know, I know! I'm a horrible wife for scheduling my husband to get his wisdom teeth out on Easter weekend but, I am going to make it up to him by filling his belly with *new soup recipes as he recovers. And bread. Lots of fresh, homemade bread.

Mmm. Mm.

  1. My BF, Nick, was supposed to get his wisdom teeth out on Good Friday too! When I informed him that it's Easter weekend, he opted to reschedule because he doesn't want to miss out on any Easter goodies.

  2. I've had friends who have been able to eat the next day and friend who couldn't eat solid for a few days so I think it depends on the person. Good luck to your hubs!
