Spring in a Bowl

It doesn't really feel like spring outside quite yet, so I am doing whatever I can to make it feel like spring inside my house! Fresh cut flowers have been a necessity these past few weeks. A different kind each week makes me smile.

I can't believe how fast two weeks have flown by, but tomorrow is the day; the day when I can start running again! I am going to take it slow, and work up to where I was, but I am happy to say that my foot has been hurting less often in the morning and barely at all throughout the day.

I see my podiatrist again next week. I am going to run a little this week to see how my foot handles it, and I hope to have a good report for my doctor!

Tomorrow is also my second weigh-in of April. I made it a goal to lose 10 pounds this month, and I feel like I am off to a slow start. That's okay, though, because I get to start running again tomorrow, and I know that will help my weight loss efforts!

Planning ahead will also help my weight loss efforts this month! Last night, I planned and prepared my lunches for the week ahead. Strawberry, grape and feta cheese salads with raspberry walnut vinaigrette dressing.

It's like Spring in a bowl.

Last night, I made homemade chicken and bacon ranch pizza for dinner. We didn't have cheddar cheese to top it with, but it was just as good without it.

My dinner plans for the work week are below:

Monday: Sundried Tomato and Goat Cheese Chicken with Veggies
Tuesday: Salmon with Jasmine Rice and Veggies
Wednesday: Chicken Salad
Thursday: Shrimp with Rice and Veggies
Friday: Goat Cheese and Sundried Tomato Pizza

My exercise plans for the work week are as follows:

Monday: Strength training
Tuesday: Run
Wednesday: Strength training
Thursday: Run
Friday: Strength training

What are your plans for the week?
