A Shopping Trip to Remember

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and feeling great!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! My husband and I both really enjoyed the 3 days off from work. We went to a couple of picnics, got a lot of shopping done, went out to the movies with our friends and relaxed, a lot!

During our all-day shopping trip, I bought 4 maternity pants for work, some new shirts, and a super comfortable dress. Comfort is key these days! My husband was a really great sport about shopping all day for just me and the baby. He actually was a lot of help, too. I'm so lucky that he is so supportive, loving, generous and considerate. I really can't say enough about how much he has helped me during this first trimester (and always). He's my rock (and maid, and chef. He's been the ideal mate for getting me through the first-trimester-yuckies. Bless him!)

Our first shopping trip for the baby (and the inevitable maternity clothes), was a trip to remember. It was so special and I hope to always remember the way my husband made me feel during the trip. We were both beaming with excitement, hope and wonder. We tested out rocking chairs, ran our hands across many different cribs, felt the soft baby blankets between our fingers, and we found the first wall-art addition for the nursery.

As each week goes on, I get more and more excited about meeting our baby. It also helps that I am feeling better and better as each week goes on, as well.

Less fatigue and nausea makes me one happy girl!
