Fun Day Round Two

Right now, I am sitting outside on my patio, partially in the shade. It's 85 degrees out and not a cloud in sight. My daughter, Piper, is sleeping upstairs. It's around 1:30 p.m. and we've already had such a busy and fun day! Round 2, that is.

Yesterday, Piper and I went shopping all around. We went to Target, Babies R' Us and the mall. I found a wonderful secret {okay, it's not a secret} mother's room at Babies R' Us, which was the perfect place to take a quick break, diaper change, etc. It was so cozy; just the break we needed to continue on with our fun day! I bought Piper 3 cotton dresses from H&M and got such a good deal there that we basically bought one dress and got two free!

Happy girls in Babies R' Us mother's room.

Piper wore one of her new cotton H&M dresses today as we went to yard sales early this morning. We got so many clothes for this summer and fall, it's not even funny. I am addicted to buying little baby clothes for a little price tag. If these clothes weren't so cheap, we would have a serious problem on our hands. Now that the weather is nicer, Fridays are for yard sales. Sorry not sorry.

In other news, I have been eating a lot healthier this week! I am sticking around the same weight of 230 lbs. but I don't check very often. I have decided that I will just do my best with reaching my May goals and will weigh myself at the end of the month instead of weekly like I always do. I'm just trying new things to hopefully produce some new results. My goal is to reach 225 lbs. by the end of May!

Here are some of my good eats of the week. I've been putting some of these on repeat. They are so good!

Spinach, mushroom and cheddar omelet with 1 egg and 2 egg whites.

Lately, for breakfast, I've been enjoying omelets two ways; both include a handful of spinach!

Spinach, turkey and Swiss omelet with 1 egg and 2 egg whites.

Salads have been a great go-to lunch.

Salad with romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and light coating of ranch.

Steak salad with romaine, tomatoes and cucumbers.

And when it comes to dinner, the grill is where it's at!

Homemade turkey burgers on whole wheat bread with buffalo wing cheese and side of orange bell pepper.

GRILLED Pizza with homemade crust, pesto, fresh mozzarella, chicken and tomatoes.

Readers, what's been on your plate this week?
