Girls Night, Pedicures and Bingo

After a really fun weekend, I am ready to start my April challenge! Week one begins tomorrow so, I'll have more on my plans for the week, then. Today, I want to share with you some moments from the fun weekend I just had! A lot has gone on in just a couple days!

On Friday night, I got together with a group of girlfriends that I've managed to keep since high school. There's six of us girls that always try to stay in touch and get together multiple times throughout the year. These girls have seen me through so  much. I am very thankful to still have them in my life!

We were just missing one friend at the get together this Friday but that's because she's living out of the State. We'll be seeing her again when she visits in June! I am so excited to see her {and her sweet kiddos} again soon!

With our 10 year high school reunion coming up this year, we just couldn't help going through some old yearbooks during our girls night in on Friday. We had a lot of laughs!

Nick and I have been together since we were 15 years old, so we have a lot of the same memories from high school. While the girls and I were going through the old yearbooks, I was texting him pictures. We both can't believe it's been 10 years since we graduated, already. Time flies when you're having fun!

After a late Friday night with some of my friends, it was hard to wake up early on Saturday morning. That is, until I remembered that I had a pedicure date scheduled with my friend, Mindy. It's starting to become a tradition for us to get our toes done in the Spring. I think that is a good tradition to keep!

My friend, Mindy, also went to the same high school as I did but, we didn't actually become best friends until years later when we were neighbors. After that I think we both realized that we are the same kind of weird and now, she's stuck with me for life!

Saturday afternoon, my mom picked me up and we went to a Pampered Chef Bingo with my grandma at the high school. We still live in our same small town and so I get to go back to high school a lot, actually. Maybe that's another reason why it doesn't seem like I've been out of school for so long.

At the Bingo event, there was a Chinese auction and snacks. It was a really good time! Especially when I finally won a round of Bingo! All three of us went home with something that night.

When you win a round of Pampered Chef Bingo, you get to pick a Pampered Chef item from the table of prizes. I picked a pop-up cooler {with a bottle opener attached}. Nick and I plan on taking Piper to a couple zoo's and the beach this summer, so this should come in handy for those trips!

After Bingo, on Saturday night, my husband and I took Piper grocery shopping. Saturday night's are a great time to go grocery shopping. The store isn't very busy at all!

We made a grocery list and mostly stuck to it. We have our meals planned for the whole week so this should be the only grocery trip we need until next weekend. Now that I have all the food I need, I am ready to start out the first week of my April challenge right!

I'll share my meal plan for the week with you tomorrow. For now, I'm going to go enjoy the last day of the weekend with my family! Happy Sunday, everyone!

Readers, how was your weekend? Are you ready to start the week off right?
