Brownies, Cookies, and Treats - Oh My

Yesterday, I shared my love for all of the pasta, bagels and bread that I tried from my first-ever ThinSlim Foods Starter Pack. Today's post is going to be a little more sweet. I'm talking about all the sweet treats!

I am a firm believer that a healthy lifestyle consists of eating ALL foods in moderation. From my experience, I know strictly depriving yourself of certain foods can actually end up being less healthy than giving in to the occasional indulgence. ThinSlim Foods proves to me that you can "have your cake and eat it too", all while staying within calories, carbs or smart points.

If you're trying to stay on track this holiday season, and throughout the new year, you might want to add the ThinSlim Foods Starter Pack to your Christmas list, or buy it now while it's still 50% OFF*.

I loved my ThinSlim Foods starter pack! I felt like a healthy-living goddess when I opened up my package of low-calorie, low-carb goodies. The starter pack gave me a taste of everything, so I could pick and choose my favorite products. It was a lot of fun testing every item out to see which goodies would help me best continue on my weight-loss journey. After all, having some delicious, low-calorie snacking options is a must for me!

As for the pasta and breads in the pack, my favorite product of all was the bagels (read more, here). Out of the sweet treats, my favorite was the vanilla muffin:

The vanilla muffin was light and fluffy, yet surprisingly filling. It was the perfect addition to my breakfast; just add a cup of coffee and you'll be in heaven with this one. Actually, you might as well make it two muffins because they are only 40 calories each!

The vanilla cookie was another favorite of mine, mostly because it tastes so similar to the vanilla muffin. The texture of the cookie is more of a pound cake texture, which is quite lovely. I don't usually say things like that, so it truly must be lovely, indeed.

Out of everything, my least favorite treat was the almond square, but that may just be me. The texture wasn't my favorite and let's just be honest, I'd rather be eating chocolate. If you're into almond treats, you may enjoy this more than I did, and at only 40 calories, it's worth a shot.

Speaking of chocolate, if you're looking for a low-calorie way to satisfy your chocolate craving, I must say that the chocolate brownie is a great choice. I ate my chocolate brownie with a side of blueberries (because, balance) and the two paired so well together, I think that's the way I need to eat the brownies from here on out.

Last but certainly not least, the chocolate glazed cookie. Oh my goodness, this chocolate glazed cookie tasted just as decadent as it looked. Thinking about it more, this was definitely my favorite out of the bunch. It was like the vanilla muffin, vanilla cookie and chocolate brownie all came together in one beautiful low-calorie snack. I'd eat this for breakfast (in replace of a high-calorie chocolate glazed donut) or as an anytime-of-the-day snack! It's just so good!

The ThinSlim Foods Starter Pack was a great way to be introduced to ThinSlim's low-calorie foods! Again, If you're trying to stay on track this holiday season, and throughout the new year, I'd say adding the ThinSlim Foods Starter Pack to your Christmas list is a great idea (or you can buy it now while it's still 50% OFF*.
