Just Drink The Water

I filled up my water at 7:30 this morning and I took a picture. This is me declaring that I am taking the first step toward losing weight again. Today, on a Saturday, I am starting anew. 

After weeks of eating poorly; after weeks of being fairly complacent with my efforts; after weeks of low motivation; after weeks of eating emotionally at nights; after weeks of aches and pains due to unnecessary inflammation; after weeks of being a barely active couch potato; after weeks of wanting more for myself but not doing much about it; today, on a Saturday, I'm taking the first step. I am going to drink half of my body weight in water today.


It doesn't matter what day I start / take this first step, it doesn't matter if I take this first step just to fall back down and have to take it again tomorrow; what matters is that I take this first step every morning. I need to just drink the water. I need to fill my water bottle once, and then again, and then again. It's the easiest thing I can do to lose weight and yet, I haven't been doing it. 

I'm starting with this first step, today. I'm filling my water bottle and I'm making water a priority today. Will you?

  1. Great way to start!!!!!!! And 'now' is always the perfect time to start...no matter what day of the week 'now' is!!!!
