Milestone: 25 Pounds in 2017

You guys.

I can't believe it.

I hit another milestone worth noting for the year of 2017.

I have lost a total of 25 pounds in 2017 and, 2017 isn't over yet!

This milestone really got me thinking. I believe this is the most I've lost in a year since starting my blog in 2011. So, I looked back and here's what I found:

2011 ~ 23 pounds lost
2012 ~ 5 pounds lost
2013 ~ 5 pounds lost
2014 ~ 38 lbs gained {during pregnancy with Piper}
2015 ~ 21 lbs. lost
2016 ~ 5 pounds gained
2017 ~ 25 pounds lost + counting!

2017 is my year. I am not stopping now. I am going to end this year with at least 25 pounds lost which is the most I have lost in a year during the entire history of this blog. I know that I may not be updating my blog as much as I once did but this, this is something worth noting.

Even though I haven't been blogging very much {which should change as Summer fades into Fall} I hope you know I want to be here, sharing everything with you. Not only just for you even, I want to look back and see what I did to lose this weight. To be able to read about what I did to make it work this time. I think part of the answer really lies in the absence of my blogging. I have learned that balance comes at various costs. That in order to keep a balance, sometimes blogging is the "ball" that needs to drop so that I can still "get it all" done.

Despite not knowing when I will be posting regularly again {Monday thru Friday}, I do know that I will be continuing to work on losing more weight. I will be enjoying my life with my family. I will be posting weekly weigh-in videos on YouTube. I will be updating my Instagram account and, I will be posting more blog posts again soon.
