2017 September Goals

Happy September, everyone! Can you believe it? Yeah, me either. Let's just roll with it though.

Now that September is here, it is time to make some new goals for myself!

Last month, I had a goal of losing 5 pounds and I DID IT! I was held accountable to reaching my goal daily thanks to my August Accountability Challenge Group. That really helped me stay on track!

This month, I have a goal of finally reaching 225 lbs. {after years and years of almost getting there} and I am going to keep myself accountable by sharing daily blog posts, Monday - Friday, every week. 

A blogger that blogs? Now, that's a good idea. {wink, wink}

I'm happy to get back into the swing of posting daily blogs for you all. Truth be told, it helps me just as much, if not more than it helps any of you. With that being said, if you find something helpful in my blog posts, please give me a shout-out in the comments below and let me know! It is always a treat to hear from all of you.

Along with posting regularly again, I plan to follow a loose blogging schedule this month to keep me inspired along the way. Here's what I'm thinking so far:

"Meal Plan Monday": a time to share all my plans for the week ahead.
"Talk About It Tuesday": a day to share whatever is on my mind. 
"What I Ate Wednesday": I'll post pictures of everything I ate from the day before. 
"Thankful Thursday": a list of the things I'm particularly thankful for that week.
"Foodie Friday": spotlights a new recipe I've been loving lately.

Totally cheesy? You betcha! I can't help myself though -- I love cheesy. 

To be honest, I really only had fun names for the last few days of the week but, once I started giving out fun names for some of the days, I felt like I couldn't leave the rest out. 

So, there you have it. Cheesy names for each day of the week that I may or may not use when posting according to my blog schedule this month. In reality, the schedule is just there to give me a topic to start out on but, if another topic comes up, we'll roll with it.

  1. I like that idea for blog post!! I wish I was better a meal planning I am a fly by the seat of my pants kind of girl. I need to do better maybe by you posting in your blog it might motivate me.
