Happy Labor Day!

I don't really think I'll be titling every Monday's blog post with "Meal Plan" before it but, I had to do it at least once. It's a little cheesy so, it makes me laugh. I'm easily amused, I guess. Moving on to the meal plan, then...
This Week's Dinner Menu:
Sunday: LABOR DAY PICNIC(S)!
Monday: Jalapeno Popper Chicken with Salad
Tuesday: Burrito Bowls
Wednesday: Ground Turkey + Brussels Sprout Skillet
Thursday: Chicken Parmesan over Spaghetti Squash
Friday: Homemade Pizzas on Naan
Saturday: DATE NIGHT!
As for Breakfast this week, I am going to be jumping around between smoothies and hard boiled eggs with turkey bacon.
Lunch calls for a few different options to choose from throughout the week, as well: Veggie Wraps -or- Burrito Bowls -or- Chicken Salads -or- Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup.
As I'm planning for this week ahead, I can't help but think about the previous week and the mistakes I made. If you haven't seen my weigh-in video from last week yet, you might want to watch it to get a better understanding of just what I'm talking about.
I made a lot of not-so-great choices last week {like eating about 20 fun size bags MM's throughout the course of the week} and I didn't like the way it made me feel. I much prefer the feeling I get when I'm making healthier choices and, the scale agrees with that as well.
Since I didn't have a loss on the scale last week, I am going to do my best to make this week worth a loss on the scale. I am going to make this week a week to be proud of, for myself. The first week of September is going to be awesome!
