A Year in Review 2013

I am getting really excited for the new year, and yet, I am sad to say good-bye to 2013.

My husband and I were very blessed this year with different adventures, time spent with each other, family and friends.

In January, 2013, we visited Washington, DC and Arlington, VA for the first time together.

We spent most of our Saturday mornings singing to 80's and 90's music while making breakfast for each other.

A lot of relaxing with our dogs, Max and Topher, was had this year.

I sized down from an XXL to an XL shirt this year.

I found a friend in Menchies frozen yogurt.

I dropped a couple pant sizes, down to 20.

We did a couple home projects, like the wonderful built-in my husband did for our bedroom on a Sunday afternoon.

We took the motorcycle out for a spin.

We went on our first Maple Syrup tour together.

We made a smart investment in our health when we bought our first treadmill.

We spent a lot of time with my little brother, Evan, and enjoyed watching him grow up this year.

We had a lot of fun with family game nights.

Some more relaxing with these guys.

Took engagement pictures for a friend and attended a few wonderful weddings this year.

Stayed active with the husband!

Blogged by our pond as much as possible.

The dogs tried "doggy ice cream" for the first time this year while my sister worked at a local ice cream stand.

I ran with my garmin a lot.

I grocery shopped with my thirty one bag.

My husband and I participated in the Law Day 5K.

We created a nice serene space for warm afternoons under the covered patio.

We took our first vacation to Virginia Beach together in May.

We had family pictures done.

I had fun times with friends.

I woke up extra early so I would have time to relax on the patio with these two and a cup of coffee before leaving for work in the morning.

Some more bike fun with my cute husband.

Some more fun with my little brother.

Fourth of July picnic with my dads side of the family.

And sprinkler time with this guy. Even though its hard to imagine now, we did have a couple hot days this summer.

Just ask Topher.

Steam and Tractor Show with Evan.

Watched my best friend finish her first half marathon.

Visited Buffalo, NY to participate in our first Color Run.

Created another relaxing spot on our stone patio by the pond.

My husband was in a wedding for his friend, Sean.

We made it to a bike trail before summer was over.

We ran at the beach and watched the sunset.

We had our favorite Gyros at the local fair.

We visited Hocking Hills, Ohio for the first time with our friends, and rented a beautiful cabin.

I rode a horse for the first time.

We went hiking in Hocking Hills.

We did a corn maze and visited a pumpkin patch.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law moved to Florida (which was hard), but then moved back (YAY)!

 My husband grew chops...

But then he chopped them off...

We celebrated 10 years of being together.

We spent a lot of time with these guys...

And I lost a few pounds this year, bringing my total loss to 40 lbs.

2013 was a wonderful year, and I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!
