Time to Get Busy

I am back home from my business trip!

Home is a wonderful place. My husband and puppies are there.

Noodles and Company is another wonderful place. It's really too bad that we don't have this restaurant anywhere near home. I ate at Noodles and Company for the first time yesterday, while I was in Pittsburgh for business.


I tried the Bangkok Curry dish, and I couldn't believe how good it was! I am drooling just thinking about all of the flavors this dish was packing. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken was tender. This dish was also under 500 calories, which made me very happy.

Noodles and Company is a new favorite of mine.

Even though I was out of town, I don't think that I did too bad food-wise. I definitely could have done worse. Working out, however, has been a different story.

I started out this week with the best of intentions, and a solid plan for workouts. I haven't completed a single day of my scheduled workouts, yet. I guess I underestimated how much energy work and this business trip was going to take out of me.

Tonight is my scheduled rest night. I am going to try to make up for my couple days of missed workouts this evening. The scale will be happy if I follow through with this plan. I jumped a whopping 5 lbs. up in weight over Thanksgiving.

Beginning of December weight: 232 lbs.
Current weight: 231 lbs.
Goal weight for this month: 225 lbs.

Time to get busy!
