Nick's Jalapeno Bruschetta

Happy Labor Day weekend!

If you're looking for a quick, crowd-pleasing dish to make for your labor day picnic this long-weekend, then you'll love Nick's Jalapeno Bruschetta! We had so many ripened tomatoes from our vegetable garden and this was the perfect recipe to use them up in a tasty way.

Nick's Jalapeno Bruschetta

3 large garden tomatoes; 7 small roma tomatoes, diced (or any combination of each, really)
1 cup shredded mozzarella
3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 heaping tbsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1 garden fresh jalapeno, diced
Italian seasoning (about 1 tsp)
Basil seasoning (about 1 tsp)
A few fresh basil leaves, diced (if you have it, if not, the seasoning will be just fine)

Combine all the ingredients and let sit an hour before digging in with your favorite crackers or bread!

When it comes to making bruschetta, my husband is always the one to make it. He really good at making recipes by taste, and they always taste really good!
