Piper's First Easter

Happy Monday! I hope your Easter was great and filled with lots of family time! Unfortunately, we weren't able to visit all the family that we are use to visiting for Easter as some of them were sick. Easter was still great, though. We had so much fun just being a family of three for the first time this Easter!

Some of our Easter celebration is "to be continued". My mom's side of the family will be hosting Easter later in the month, when they are all well again.

The Easter bunny dropped off baskets at my mom's house for my husband, daughter and I. My little brother delivered the baskets to our house early on Easter morning and he is so sneaky, we didn't even know he was here. My husband found the baskets on the back porch. We were all very spoiled by the Easter bunny (a.k.a. my mom) this year!

I may have cried when I saw all the baby food in the Easter basket. I am still convinced Piper will be staying little forever. This was a minor wake-up call for me. I decided to hide the baby food in the pantry for now so I can continue living in denial for as long as possible.

The Easter bunny also visited our house and brought Piper some cute bunny ears and stuffed animals. She was impressed.

Since we didn't go out to visit family this year, we made our own Easter dinner for the first time. We were sad to not go visiting family like we are use to, but we really enjoyed a relaxing Sunday with our own little family instead.

What did you do this Easter?
What did the Easter bunny bring you and/or your kids?
