Piper's First Thanksgiving

Hey, all! I'm back from my Thanksgiving blog-break.

Piper's first Thanksgiving was definitely one to remember. I may have said this before, but each holiday is so much more special now that she is celebrating with us.

My heart is so full, including her in holiday traditions and all of the things we did before she was with us. I have never been so happy!

This Thanksgiving, the weather was mild compared to last year. It was so nice to not have to worry about the snow. We enjoyed some time outside together!

Thanksgiving 2015 and 2014

Our first stop of the day was at "Nana and Papa's" house (Piper's great-grandma and great-grandpa).

Piper had a lot of fun playing with the toys at Nana and Papa's. She even played with my old cabbage patch doll from when I was a little girl. That was so sweet to watch.

This is where she had her first taste of "Thanksgiving turkey". Boy, did she like that!

Piper also enjoyed a mixture of mashed potatoes and avocados with peas. Of course.

After Nana and Papa's, we went to visit Nick's dad, then it was time for a little nap. When she woke up from her nap, we went over to Nick's "Busha's" house (Piper's other great grandparents).

Piper met her second cousin, Chelsea, and partied hard until it was time for bed.

It was a great Thanksgiving, indeed.

Readers, how as your Thanksgiving?
