September Goals 2016

It's the first day of September, and I'm going to start the month off right by making some goals for myself.

September Goals:
Lose 5 - 10 pounds (248 lbs starting weight)
30 minutes of activity - 3 days a week
Track nutrition - 5 days a week
Try a new recipe
Share a new recipe
Go back to church

Those are my goals for September! Now, let me back track a bit and talk about August. 

As you may know, I was absent from my blog during the month of August but in my absence I was very active in making healthier decisions all month. I hosted an Accountability Challenge on Facebook and it was a huge success! I lost 5 pounds (down from 253 to 248 lbs) and I gained some serious inspiration from my group. While I will not be hosting a group challenge in September, I am thinking about hosting again in October, so if this is something you may be interested in, let me know!

I am excited about all of my goals for September but one of the most exciting goals for me is going to be trying and sharing a new recipe. Ever since I got my new "Mixer Upper" apron (a little play on my favorite show, Fixer Upper), I have been making more meals at home. Sometimes it's the little things that spark inspiration in us, and it's up to us to keep the fire going!
