Thankful Thursday #5

It's time for another Thankful Thursday! Here's a short list of some of the things I'm extra thankful for this week.

Cacao + Chamomile Tea

Sometimes, I experience anxiety and {just this week} I came to the realization that drinking coffee increases my anxiety. It's a real shame too because, I love the taste and smell of coffee, especially on a cool Fall morning. Of course, I love the energy boost coffee gives me, too.

After going most of the summer without coffee and then trying it again recently, I came to find rather quickly that it's just not for me right now. Coffee made my heart race for a large majority of the days that I drank it! So, my replacements for coffee have been Cacao and Chamomile Tea. Not together, though. I use Cacao in my morning smoothies {for that energy boost} and I use Chamomile Tea either throughout the day or before bed {to give me that warm cup I love to drink from during these cooler months}.

Last Minute Zoo Trips

On Monday, I had a chiropractor appointment and I took Piper with me. When we were done there, Piper asked to go to the zoo. It was a beautiful, summer-like day and so, I was totally on board with that idea!

We turned left instead of right at the interstate and had ourselves a great last-minute zoo trip together.

Ignite Festival

If you read my post from yesterday, then you know all about this one already.

I was so thankful to get the opportunity to go to the Ignite Festival with my husband last weekend. Nina watched Piper and put her to sleep so we could stay out late and enjoy our time together, listening to some new music. It was a great experience!

Building Forts on Chilly Mornings, Fireside

Enough said.

8 Years of Marriage

I am thankful for our upcoming wedding anniversary! As of next week, we will have been married for 8 years and have spent about 14 years together. We are so blessed to have had so much time together, already. I love my high school sweetheart!

Readers, it's your turn! Tell me something you're thankful for this week!
