Halfway Through November

We are halfway through November! Time flies when you're not getting any sleep and never know what day it really is, huh? Parenthood is funny like that sometimes.

Tomorrow is going to be my second weigh-in of November and unless some sort of miracle happens today, I don't think I'm going to be that far down on the scale compared to last week.

Losing 10 pounds in November is starting to look less likely now that I'm mid-way through the month but, that doesn't mean that I'm going to stop trying to lose as much as I still can.

Unfortunately, with a sick toddler, sleepless nights are very much a reality for me right now and they affect more than just my attitude throughout the day; sleepless nights really affect weight-loss, or rather the lack thereof, too.

Regardless, I am not giving up. Instead, I am adapting my goal to something more attainable. My new goal is to get down to 230 lbs. by the end of November. {a 6 lb. loss for the month vs. a 10 lb. loss.} In all honesty, that may still be a bit of a reach with Thanksgiving right around the corner but, at least it's a more attainable goal since the first couple weeks of November were much harder than I could have imagined.

Despite the struggles, I am feeling inspired to continue on. This will all make me stronger in the long run. It's all part of the journey.
