Healthy Lifestyles Don't Have Forbidden Foods

How as your holiday weekend? Please don't tell me I'm the only one feeling a little bloated from indulging in some yummy picnic food! Please also don't let that be a reason for not getting back on track today. Instead, try to drink as much water as you can and make some healthy choices to offset the weekend. 

If you're like me, this isn't about being on a diet - it's about working toward a healthier lifestyle. Sustainable healthy lifestyles don't have "forbidden foods". Everything is allowed but, in moderation.


I don't know about you but, I was definitely happy for that reminder after this holiday weekend.

Thanks to pushing the reset button during this long, holiday weekend, I have a good mentality about getting back on track despite my indulgence. Sometimes, when I'm not in a good place, I will find any excuse to just keep going off track but, today, I feel empowered to get back on track.

If you're struggling to get back on track today - don't forget that each day is a new chance to make a change. Each meal, even. As my girl, 70lbsoflife on YouTube says: "You hold the power in your hands to make any changes you want in your life."

Let's make today a day of empowerment!
