Welcoming November with Grace

Hello, everyone! It's been a while. I have so much to update you on but, I think I'll just focus on the top of the list stuff for today. In case you missed it, our family had COVID in mid-October, and we've since recovered. Praise God! Obviously, my weight-loss efforts were on hold during that time and, honestly, I haven't been focused on weight-loss since. Today, that all will change! I am feeling ready to focus in on my health and wellness goals, again.

After having COVID and going through Halloween, my body is craving a change. We've had too much take-out and candy, lately. I'm up 2 pounds on the scale which is really no big deal compared to how yucky I'm feeling. That's my real motivation to get back on track!

To start, I'm giving myself all the grace for where I am at today. October was an insane month for our family. Today, I'm going back to the basics. I am making it a goal to drink 80-120oz of water. I am going to track everything I eat, and try to stay within my pre-determined nutritional range. I am going to try to fill myself with lean protein and fiber rich foods, first. I am going to be more mindful of how I'm feeling. Finally, I am going to try to move my body more, which in my case will be done through catching up on cleaning the house and laundry from the weekend.

I am welcoming November with grace and I hope you will, too. Blessings!
