Full Day of Eats: Double Donut Day

This post is not for the faint of heart. Remember a few days ago when I shared that week 6 of my challenge was spent overcoming my PMS cravings. Well, I want to be real with you. Today you’re going to see what those cravings looked like and what I gave into. 

This is why I will share a full day of eats when I feel like a pillar of health, and also on the days when I eat a double round of donuts. Today, is an example of the latter.

Food Journal - 3/2/26

Breakfast: Premier Protein (160 cal)

Lunch: (2) Hot Dogs from Sheetz (340 cal) - this lunch was unusual and unplanned because we met up with my husband for a “gas station lunch” while we were out running errands and found out he was working nearby!

Afternoon snack: (3) Timbits (210 cal) - because Tim Horton’s is nearby the gas station and my youngest loves them and my willpower was low. At least I made my afternoon Oatmilk Latte from home (130 cal).

Dinner: Salmon Steak + Alfredo Protein Pasta + Green Beans + Tomatoes (670 cal)

Dessert: (1/2) of a Long John donut (200 cal) because they are my husband’s favorite and he requested them, and again, my willpower was low.





It was a double donut day, and it didn’t break the calorie budget! This is a win, and how I got to enjoy my PMS cravings within a reasonable balance. 

Total calories for the day came in around 1,710.
