Full Day of Eats: When I’m Not Tracking

Hello! Today I’m sharing what I ate on a weekend day (2/28) when I wasn’t tracking my calories for a deficit.

Once or twice a week, I don’t track my food just to give myself a break and really to reinforce the fact that perfection isn’t the goal.

On this day, we didn’t have much scheduled and so we went for a family walk by the lake, went out to lunch together, and then later I went in a date night with my husband. It was a bucket-filler of a day!

Breakfast started with a cup of tea and the last leftover cabbage roll. (Be glad you will no longer need to witness me eating cabbage rolls for breakfast.)

After breakfast, we stopped at a local market and picked up some chocolates while we were there. (This is how I should have known PMS week was here.) I had 3 pieces spread out throughout the day, and shared with my family, of course!

For lunch, our family went out to a bagel shop and I got a BLT on a toasted garlic bagel. It was so good! The entire experience was good.

After lunch, we walked by the lake. My oldest found a flower which was a nice token of hope for the Spring!

For dinner, my husband took me to a barbecue restaurant. You might be familiar with this dish because it’s what I get every single time we go here. Loaded pork nachos are my jam!

After dinner, we got lattes from one of our favorite coffee shops.

I’m not sure how many calories that all ended up being because I didn’t track, and that’s okay for today!
